After all, it has become the Democrats' responsibility to manage the situation. Unfortunately, I suspect they've already compromised our interests long ago, as indicated by the 2016 slogan "drain the swamp."
However, the real issue is that Dr. Fauci was involved in funding Covid-19 research at the Wuhan lab. This raises the possibility that China obtained the virus from the US CDC or NIH to continue Gain of Function research, despite the Obama Administration's public ban on such research in 2014.
From a political standpoint, this situation suggests that either a rogue faction within the American government is collaborating with China, or the American government is concealing the truth from its citizens to pursue its undisclosed agenda.
